I've seen and experienced a lot of cool first. I've been knocked back 6 feet and put out for a while by a short in a CRT, crushed my hand, been in 2 earthquakes, and been in 2 wrecks. Today I had a capacitor explode. I was testing a board for eBay sale and when I powered it on a capacitor started foaming from the top, I reached for the power cord to unplug it, as I knew this was a bad sign of impending fire, and 2 capacitors blew their top and sprayed their capacitor gel on my arm. I continued my mission and unplugged it and ran to the wash shower to hose off my arm. It took me 5 seconds (I counted to make sure we were in the OSHA compliant 8 seconds) and I still have marks from it. Fun! Below are pictures.

Awesome.
So what about selling it on eBay? You can say it's been tested.
I could, it has been tested. Tested to explode...
